Luxury Tree of Life Resin Wall Art: What You Get, What It Costs, and Who It’s For
|
Direct Answer MEHMAT’s Luxury Tree of Life Resin Wall Art is a handmade panel built on a solid wood board: a hand-sculpted 3D tree in texture paste, finished in metallic gold, set with hand-placed clear and red fire glass crystals, and sealed under a high-gloss epoxy pour. It comes in sizes from 12 to 40 inches plus custom, with prices starting from Rs. 15,999 (listed down from Rs. 25,000). Each piece is made to order with advance payment, and MEHMAT’s Resin Collection states about 10 days of crafting plus 4 days of delivery, so it suits buyers who can plan ahead, not buyers who need it this week or expect easy returns. |
What This Piece Actually Is
The Luxury Tree of Life Resin Wall Art is a decorative wall panel, not a print. Every piece starts as a raw wood board and is built up by hand: the trunk and branches are sculpted in modeling paste so they stand off the surface, the tree is finished in metallic gold, clusters of clear and red crystals form the canopy, and a clear epoxy pour seals everything under a smooth, glossy layer. The result is something you can see and feel in relief, and it changes with the light as you walk past it.
MEHMAT sells it as part of its Resin Collection, where every piece is described as crafted by hand and customised only after an order is placed. That detail shapes how you buy it, and we will come back to it below. First, the materials, because that is where most of the value, and most of the confusion, sits.
The Build, Layer by Layer
Here is what MEHMAT’s listing says goes into each panel, from the bottom up:
• A raw, pure-grain wood board as the base, finished on the back so it can be mounted without a bulky frame.
• Professional-grade modeling texture paste, hand-sculpted into the trunk and branches to create real 3D relief.
• Metallic gold detailing applied by hand over the sculpted tree.
• Hundreds of clear and red fire glass crystals, placed by hand to form the canopy.
• A final high-gloss epoxy resin pour that encases the crystal work in a smooth, glass-like layer.
Two terms deserve plain-language translation. “Fire glass” here means faceted glass crystals: glass, not diamonds, rubies, or natural gemstones. And on the gold, the product title says “gold leaf” while the description talks about metallic gold detailing, so treat it as a gold-toned metallic finish. If the exact material matters to you (real leaf, imitation leaf, or paint), ask MEHMAT on WhatsApp before you order. Our step-by-step look at how a piece is made explains why each layer has to dry or cure before the next one goes on.
Sizes and Custom Orders
The size selector runs from 12 inches to 40 inches in 2-inch steps, fifteen sizes in all, and MEHMAT also offers custom sizes for feature walls, hallways, and staircases. One detail the listing does not spell out is which dimension the number refers to. The photos show a square panel, so a 24-inch piece is most likely 24 by 24 inches, but confirm that for your size, especially if you are measuring for a specific gap. If you are still working out what fits your wall, our size and placement guide converts every size into centimetres and matches each one to sofa, console, and headboard widths.
Custom sizes are worth asking about if your wall is wider or narrower than the standard range. Send MEHMAT the wall width, the width of the furniture beneath it, and a photo of the space, and ask for the exact price and crafting time before you commit. Because custom work is made to order like everything else in the collection, expect the same advance-payment terms.
What It Costs
Prices start from Rs. 15,999. The product page shows that figure beside a struck-through Rs. 25,000, which is 36% off and a saving of Rs. 9,001 on the starting price, and the collection page labels it “From Rs. 15,999”. The word “from” matters: the final price depends on the size you select, so check the total for your size before you pay. At recent exchange rates (roughly Rs. 278 to 281 to the US dollar in July 2026), Rs. 15,999 is around US$57.
For context, in the search results we reviewed in September 2026, original textured resin-and-gold tree panels from overseas sellers started at around US$250 for roughly 40-centimetre squares. That is a different market with different shipping, duties, and overheads, so it is not a like-for-like comparison. It does show that handmade pieces in this style are rarely cheap anywhere, and that the honest way to compare is by size, materials, and what is actually included.
Timeline and Payment: The Part to Read Twice
MEHMAT’s Resin Collection page is where the important buying details live. It says every piece is crafted by hand and customised only after you place your order with advance payment, and it sets the timeline at 10 days for crafting plus 4 days for delivery, about 14 days in total across Pakistan. The product page separately lists an estimated delivery time of 3 to 5 working days, which appears to describe courier delivery once the piece is finished, so plan around the full 14 days. Delivery is free on orders of Rs. 3,000 or more, a threshold every size of this piece clears.
In practice, if you need it for a dated event such as a wedding, Eid, or a shop opening, order at least three weeks ahead and confirm the date on WhatsApp first. Read the Resin Collection page for the current wording before you pay.
Who It Suits, and Who Should Skip It
It suits people who want a focal point rather than a filler: a living room wall above a sofa or console, a hallway, a home office, or a cafe, salon, clinic, or reception area, which are the settings the listing itself suggests. It also works as a housewarming, wedding, anniversary, Eid, or corporate gift, because the Tree of Life is a widely recognised symbol of growth and connection. Our piece on the symbolism behind the Tree of Life goes through the history.
Skip it, or at least think twice, if you need delivery within a week, if the wall gets hours of direct sun, if you want a guaranteed return option, or if you expect real gold and gemstones. The finish is decorative. The sculpted, sparkling, high-gloss look is the point, and it is genuine craftsmanship, but it is not jewellery.
How It Compares With Other Ways to Buy This Look
Search results for this style mix several very different products under similar names. Here is how they generally differ. These are general characteristics of each type, not claims about any specific seller.
|
Type |
Surface and depth |
Light and finish |
Care and price tendency |
|
Handmade resin with texture paste (this piece) |
Real 3D relief under a glossy clear layer |
Gold and crystals catch light; gloss can reflect windows |
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep from direct sun; higher price (handmade, made to order) |
|
Canvas print |
Flat printed image, sometimes varnished |
Matte to satin, little sparkle |
Dust only, keep dry; usually the lowest price |
|
Glass print |
Printed image on or behind glass |
Smooth, glossy, reflective |
Wipe with a soft cloth; heavier and breakable; mid price |
|
LED crystal-porcelain panel |
Crystal-covered panel with a built-in light |
Backlit glow |
Needs power or USB; electrical parts can fail; mid to high price |
The short version: a print gives you the image, while a resin panel gives you the object. If you only want a Tree of Life motif on the wall for the lowest cost, a print will do the job. If you want texture, sparkle, and something no one else has, the handmade route is what you are paying for.
What to Check Before You Order
Because the piece is made to order, the time to ask questions is before payment. Here is a short checklist worth sending on WhatsApp:
• Which dimension does my chosen size refer to, and what is the final price at that size?
• Is the gold real leaf, imitation leaf, or metallic paint?
• How much does the panel weigh, and does it come with hanging hardware?
• Can I choose a colourway or pattern, or only the classic gold-and-red?
• What is the exact crafting time for my size, and when will it ship?
• What are the return and exchange terms for this piece, given that it is both made to order and on sale?
On that last point, MEHMAT’s return policy page lists custom and sale items among the items that cannot be returned, and asks buyers to inspect an order on arrival and report damage or defects immediately. Getting the answers in writing turns a nervous purchase into a confident one.
Where It Sits in the Resin Collection
If you like the technique but not the tree, the same collection includes other epoxy pieces, such as the Luxury Irregular Resin Mirror Wall Art, a high-gloss wavy-edge design listed from Rs. 17,999 at the time of writing. Pieces in the collection share the made-to-order approach, so timelines and payment terms work the same way.
The Bottom Line
The Luxury Tree of Life Resin Wall Art is a good buy for someone who wants a handmade, textured, light-catching centrepiece and is comfortable ordering a made-to-order piece with advance payment and about two weeks of lead time. It is a poor fit for last-minute gifts or for anyone who wants easy returns. Ask the questions above, choose your size carefully, and you will know exactly what you are getting.
